The launching ceremony also saw the nomination of President and other members of the IBPA. Following is the organizational strucuture of IBPA:
President: Sajjan Singh Cheema (Arjuna Awardee)
General Secretary: Jayasankar Menon (Former Asian All Star Basketball player)
Treasurer: Ashok Sharma (National player and FIBA Commissioner)
Chairman: Abbas Moontaisar
Vice-Chairmen: Manmohan Singh and Suman Sharma
The IBPA is proposed to be incorporated as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
